Position summary
The the role of Administrative Student Pastor encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities including administration, financial management, event planning, communication, team cultivation, and pastoral support. Preferred Qualifications:

Prior leadership experience in a ministry or church setting

Duties and responsibilities
-
Hold weekly meetings with the pastoral team to set agendas and communicate important updates and topics.

Schedule and distribute the preaching schedule, resolving any conflicts that arise.

Plan, organize, and oversee individual services at One Place.

Lead the morning huddle for the worship service to effectively communicate the order of service.

Ensure all necessary materials, equipment, and facilities are ready for the worship service, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Manage financial records, ensuring offering is counted and delivered to the CFE office.

Create an administrative team to handle tasks such as finances, planning center, special events, order of service, and related graphics for promotion.

Create a stage manager schedule from the administrative team to ensure smooth service operations each Sabbath morning.

Creation and maintenance of administrative runbook for all worship service and event needs.

Facilitate weekly team meetings with the administrative team.

Facilitates effective use of Planning Center, ensure it is up to date weekly by each group for each event.

Coordinate and manage volunteers, providing training, support, encouragement, supervision, and motivation for ministries of One Place.

Organize and oversee fellowship-wide events in collaboration with staff and volunteers.

Foster engagement between the student body and community by providing opportunities to connect.

Organize video announcements for the student body through the CFE office to promote One Place Events.

Be a present and active participant for all One Place services, except for one Sabbath off per month.

Attend monthly Center for Faith Engagement student Chaplain meetings.

Attend Center for Faith Engagement retreat at the prior to the school year starting

Attend biweekly CFE meetings to represent One Place in planning for university events
Supervisory responsibilities
Ability to lead meetings with volunteers and paid team members in while creating a warm, collaborative environment.

Technical competencies
Ability to use the platform Planning Center, maintain the spreadsheets and excel sheets.
Interpersonal interactions
The Administrative Student Pastor orchestrates the seamless execution of worship services and events, by fostering a vibrant and inclusive faith community.
Physical demands
Most be able to lift items 40 pounds while moving items for service or events.
Work environment
Ability to be present in various enviroments including meeting spaces, varying types of spaces for worship and spaces with multiple people gathered.
